An abundance of wildlife in its natural habitat (no man-made walkways or viewing platforms) that you are guaranteed to see, combined with very few humans (there is only about 3,500 of us!), and wide open spaces with big blue skies make the Falklands a mecca for keen naturalists and photographers, or for those just looking to get off the beaten track and enjoy a wild and unspoilt environment.
Tailor-made
The Falklander Travel is a local operator/DMC which works with providing and arranging trips to the Falkland Islands. Also we arrange excursions, activities and other experiences in the Falklands.
We are a B2B/B2C company, and through our partners and team we can provide and operate a whole range of travel possibilities in the Falkland Islands.
Amazing
Our tours are 100% tailor-made, so depending on capacity we will organise the best combination of your clients chosen destinations and activities in the number of days they would like to visit. Accommodation, transfers, tours, experiences, ground transportation, car hire and internal flights are included in the package.
Your client's itinerary can be found on their personal 'Your Trip Plans App' with direct contact to our travel experts, leaflets, maps and general information.
Unique experiences
We would like you to make the very most of every minute your clients are on the Falkland Islands … we invite you to delve into our chest of experiences and add some little extras to your client's itinerary, particularly when you are in Stanley, to be sure you enjoy every aspect of the Falklands.
Whilst most of these experiences are based from Stanley, we think you’ll find plenty of natural experiences while you are out island-hopping with hill walking, beach combing, off-road driving and open air picnic lunches all regular features of any Falklands itinerary.
Deciding when to make your client's visit to the Falklands will depend largely on their interests. If it is to catch a certain species at a specific point in its breeding cycle or wanting to see the penguins nesting when they are easy to photograph, or more active once the chicks have hatched? Or are they chasing flora, desperately want to try a fresh diddle dee berry, or hoping to see whales?
October is a magical time as the Falklands start to come alive again, November – January are by far the busiest months for wildlife enthusiasts and booking well in advance will be key at main destinations, but if you want to come later in the season (maybe March or April) you will still see plenty of wildlife and enjoy many other aspects of the Falklands including excellent trout fishing.
